Soooo I'm definitely still learning how to use my camera. I like these pictures the best, but to be honest I still have no idea what I am doing.
Thinking about the assignment, Floridian Stories, many different ideas come to mind. Being a Floridian with roots in this state that date back to before Florida was a state, I consider myself as Floridian as it gets and so I should be able to come up with something good.
Initial thoughts:
-Family heritage pictures. Going back to my roots- Gainesville, McIntosh, Brooksville, Homosassa, Leesburg, and Ocala.
-Documenting my life or the life of my very interesting roommate, John- the duck hunter and sportsman.
-Photographing the things in Florida that seem the least Floridian, yet are.
-Basing my photographs off the story of my dads pharmacy, an independent, small town pharmacy.
-Floridian college life. The art majors, pre-med, greeks, athletes, etc. The scooter, bikers, etc.
-Concentrate on the stereotypical Floridian things: the water, palm trees, sunny sky.
AND MANY MORE IDEAS THAT I AM STILL EXPLORING.
